Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Every business gets certain questions over and over. It’s a great idea to record questions as you get them and see which ones are frequently asked, then write the answers to the questions (and record a video of you answering them too for best impact) and post them on your website and social media.
By you doing this process you create a one time effort on your part that is a 24/7/365 resource for anyone visiting your online sites to investigate your business in their decision making process.
By freely providing easy access FAQ info about your business, expertise and product service offerings, that people can read/view on their own time it saves you a TON of time and actually resells people. This process prepares people know, like and trust you and your business before they even contact you! That is powerful.
What’s an SAQ? A ‘should ask question’. These are the questions you want prospective customers to ask you but they don’t know enough about what you do, the industry etc. to know what questions to ask. Have you ever been buying something and knew you should be asking more questions but did not know what to ask? Same with people looking to business with you,
So, create an FAQ and SAQ page(s) on your website and then also publish each individually, over time, to your social media.
On that note, here are a few FAQs we get:
Q: What can you do for me?
A: We act as coach and sounding board for creating an online success strategy for your business. We provide some coaching as a service specifically but we also provide what we consider to be key services most businesses should integrate into their online and offline processes. With each service we offer coaching to maximize the benefit of the service, not just support.
- 1st we focus on getting clear on your Positioning. What is your message, purpose and place in the marketplace? Is it clearly defined, clearly stated in all your marketing? Without a clear, consistent message how will prospective customers be attracted to your business?
- 2nd we focus on the business online Presence. Is your business well and widely visible online with a website, multiple appropriate social media (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn etc), online directories (Google, Yelp, Foursquare, Yellow Pages, there are dozens). Each social media and directory is free to have an account and is great for SEA (showing up in a Google search etc) and does get visitor traffic that can be sent your way. Many also host reviews which you really want to encourage and monitor.
- 3rd we focus on the ultimate goal of creating Prestige for your business online. Prestige is, does your business represent well online, have a 5 star review reputation? When people find your business anywhere online do they get a positive feeling from what they see? Does your business stand out positively from the competition? Each step we work with you on is meant to leading your business to have Prestige online.
What we offer is a wholistic process where each part enhances the other. Not every service fits for every business. We only recommend processes and services that are efficient, effective and focussed on increasing your bottom line, whether we provide the service or someone else does. Your success is our focus.
Q: How long have you been doing this?
A: We have been offering internet marketing coaching and services for over 10 years and have provided a wide range of services at various times. We now focus on our strengths and on the services we feel give the best result at the lowest cost for most businesses.
Q: Do you recommend using videos on our website?
A: Yes. Absolutely. Without hesitation. Videos can be done so easily and inexpensively now (try free) on your own, or with us, or with a higher end production. Video is one of the most powerful tools for your online presence and developing Prestige with prospective customers. People are so used to watching TV, movies and YouTube now that it is the preferred way for most people to learn. Video is also the best way for strangers to get to know your business and build credibility with them.
We provide coaching to help you do you own videos and we also provide some video service (shooting and editing) and there are many video producers in the market place you can engage.
We encourage you do some of your own videos, in most cases, as they are the most real and relatable, great for building the know, like trust factor with people. Low tech videos work great. A smartphone or cheap digital cameral with decent lighting and good audio and you are set.
Q: What do you charge?
A: Each situation is unique. Needs and budgets vary. We do a review of your present business and make recommendations on the process and services we think best suited. Each service has ‘small-medium-large’ variables that we will offer and you decide what level of service and cost fit you. We are very reasonable in pricing with same services and offer great coaching support, with everything focused on a great return for your bottom line. What we do for your business should be an investment in your business that produces excellent returns.
SAQs we would like you to consider
Q: Many other businesses offer your same services, how do I know who to choose?
A: As with any purchase or investment it usually comes down to your research and referrals. Have you gone through the company website, spoken to the people who might provide you service? Have you read, heard referrals from satisfied customers?
We work only from referrals. We are not looking to serve hundreds of clients only a few dozen that we can serve well and fully. Some agencies are so big a client becomes a number. Some agencies are so new they really don’t know their job well enough. A small agency with focussed services and hands on service is what we decided to be.
Q: I looked for you on Facebook and can’t find you?
A: We are not on social media platforms because our focus is small and referral based. We have experience with social media to serve our clients but do not use them ourselves for generating business. We recognize for many businesses (not all) a social media presence is very important for growth and customer relationships. We stay focussed on doing great work for you and inviting your referral to us of another client once we have proven ourselves to you.
